Why Skin Nutrition is so Efficacious
I get emails and letters regularly from customers telling me how happy they are with their Skin Nutrition products and how they’ve achieved results never experienced before with any brand. They also ask why that is. There is not a simple answer to this but what I will say is there are some core philosophies of ours which we have never deviated from and never will.
We start with leading-edge, technologically advanced ingredients, many of which are proprietary, and ensure every molecule in every ingredient we use is recognizable and utilizable by our bodies and that none of them are potentially harmful.
Further to this, every ingredient we use must be clean and free of harsh chemicals as well as compatible with our bodies and our bodies natural biological processes, which ensures optimal assimilation and efficacy. Often chemically derived ingredients are unrecognizable to our bodies and can potentially cause irritation and be harmful, creating chemical build-up and cellular toxicity.
Another key focus at Skin Nutrition is the efficiency and targeting of our ingredients. We have developed our own unique, clinically proven technology, for the delivery of these ingredients. We micro-encapsulate our actives into what we call nanospheres, which we are extremely methodical about because we can deliver higher concentrations of actives that are far more stable, without any dilution (which is normally impossible), to ensure maximum efficacy, for you, our customer.

Gulf Oil Spill
Months and millions of barrels of oil later BP has still not found a solution to stopping the gushing oil into the gulf. I think it is fitting to send BP another message by boycotting their gas stations. Please do not buy gas from any BP, Amoco, AM/PM or ARCO gas stations until they have resolved the problem and we can see a positive impact is being made on the cleanup in the affected areas.

Skin Nutrition bound for QVC
Skin Nutrition had a successful meeting last week with home shopping giant QVC and they will be airing Skin Nutrition by the end of summer 2010. We at Skin Nutrition feel QVC is a perfect platform for the brand as it allows the unique points of difference to be communicated like no other medium and we look forward to working with them.
Skin Nutrition is happy to announce it has appointed TCJC LLC as exclusive QVC agents. TCJC has more than 20 years experience with QVC and believes Skin Nutrition is the perfect brand for them. Skin Nutrition has been contemplating for some time whether or not QVC is the right platform for its brand and after much deliberation with TCJC, we are now 100% confident it is the right fit as it allows the major points of differences of the brand to be communicated in a way currently unavailable.
Why Olive Based Cleansers Are Better
There has been a lot of press of late on olive oil or olive derived ingredient cleansers, and we love to read and hear this as people are obviously catching on to what we have known for many years. Olive facial cleansers are far healthier for the skin than ones based with alcohol or petroleum products. Chemicals and synthetic ingredients are drying and irritating to the skin and it is always better to use an all-natural product than to put chemicals on your face.
Too many companies use cheap and nasty chemical cleansing & foaming agents, emulsifiers, and thickening additives without giving any care to the potential damage these ingredients might cause the end-user.
When you use products containing chemicals, these chemicals can enter your bloodstream as they can be absorbed through your pores. This is the equivalent to eating these products. When you stop to realize that skin care products and weed killers have ingredients in common, you begin to see the potential for danger that chemical based products pose.
Olive oil and olive derived ingredients contain properties which make it more closely compatible with the natural oil that our body produces than any other plant oil. It is an excellent source of phyto-nutrients, which our cells lap up, healing antioxidants, is one of the best facial moisturizers for your skin, and balances the production of sebum in your skin, so that it cannot be too dry, or too oily.
Long before the idea came about for an olive facial cleanser the people of the Mediterranean were pressing olives for their precious juice. Olive oil has a rich history in the Mediterranean, where it has been far more than mere food. It has been used medicinally, it has played a role in religious rituals, and it has been used in soap-making for hundreds and hundreds of years. The oldest surviving olive oil amphorae dates back to the early Minoan times of 3500 BC and some of the presses that date back to the Roman period are still in use today.
We at Skin Nutrition have understood the benefits of olive derived ingredients since inception, and not only use them in both of our facial cleansers, but we use them in nearly every topical skin care product we make and have made from day 1.
